Gerald Wafula  – An agile and versatile individual with back ground training in civil Engineering and project management from Masinde Muliro University and Kenya Institute of Management respectively.

He has spearheaded approaches and programs that promote and adhere to the principles of Equity and
equality with special regard to urban poor. Over the past 9 years I have been integral in developing, promoting and upscaling models that ensure improved access to safe, clean, affordable water, sanitation and housing in 5 counties across the country. Further I have been instrumental in leading the organizational advocacy strategy on social economic rights that has led to regularization of tenure for 3 informal settlements, development of pro-poor legislations that recognizes informal settlements as human habitation. This wealth of experience has provided him with a holistic worldview that integrates physical development approaches and human development that is critical to a developing Nation.
