This spatial analysis maps the potential socio-economic impacts of the proposed riparian reserve expansion on Budalangi, Chieko, and Gituamba settlements. By combining geospatial data with community-level insights, the study identifies affected structures, social amenities, and livelihoods, and provides evidence to support inclusive, rights-based planning that balances environmental protection with the needs and realities of affected communities.
